Fit as a Fiddle

I made this in my 3D Animation class. For this project, I had to pick a well-known idiom and make an animation based on it. I decided to pick “fit as a fiddle,” meaning you are in good physical condition. When making the animation, I was just going to take place in a solid color background. Then I thought about this maybe being like a performance, so I decided to have it take place on a stage. I would have “fits as a” be the bow and “fiddle” be the actual fiddle. I then wanted to have the fiddle play something for the audience, like a performance. I also added a spot light to emphasis that it is a performance taking place on a stage.

My overall thoughts about this project are that it was very successful for my first time using Cinema 4D. I was proud of how well the light was in the animation. I had to play with the reflections and shadows to make it look real. I don’t believe the timing of the bow to the fiddle with the music was not best, but the animation did a good job executing what I was going for.
